Europe in the oil frenzy. The consequences of dangerous addiction is a non-fiction book by the publicist and historian Daniele Ganser published by Orell Füssli in 2012 . In November 2012, the Swiss business magazine Bilanz ranked it 8th on its bestseller list for business books . The science journalist Hellmut Butterweck reviewed the book in the Wiener Zeitung , the editor-in-chief of Deutschlandfunk , Rainer Burchardt , on Deutschlandradio Kultur and the editor-in-chief Susan Boos in the WOZ Die Weekly newspaper .
