The Europabrücke Kelheim is a 381 meter long structure in Kelheim ( Lower Bavaria ). The girder bridge is an overpass with two lanes and sidewalks. To the east of the city, the structure spans the Danube (Danube kilometers 2412.72) and the Main-Danube Canal shortly before their confluence.

The prestressed concrete construction , inaugurated on December 6, 1977, has a curved floor plan and, as a structural system, has the continuous beam in the longitudinal direction . The span for the seven-span road bridge is 37.0 m + 62.0 m + 3 × 55.0 m + 70.0 m + 47.0 m, which results in a total span of 381.0 m. In the transverse direction, the 17.2 m wide superstructure consists of two single-cell box girder cross-sections that are connected to one another by the deck slab. The construction height is a constant 2.5 m. The prestressing consists of internal tendons in the longitudinal and transverse directions .

The bridge was built in six stages with a falsework .
