Europe Base
The Europe Base is a military base about five kilometers south of the city of Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina .
The camp, which previously served as a military airfield, was largely built by soldiers from the French army . About a thousand soldiers are still stationed there.
The headquarters of the Multinational Task Force South East SALAMANDER is housed in the camp.
The Spanish companies Alpha and Bravo are also in the camp. Every day they conduct patrols and day and night explorations in their respective operational rooms. They show the presence of EUFOR in the area and during special operations they collect information and support the local authorities and police forces.
