Net Serviços de Comunicação SA, (abbreviation: Net) is the largest cable television company from Brazil with headquarters in São Paulo . The company is listed in the IBOVESPA financial index .

Net Serviços de Comunicação has around 6.7 million customers (as of August 2008). The company also operates the Internet service provider Net Virtua with 630,000 customers (2006).

The company was founded in 1991 by the family company TV Globo , owned by the Brazilian family Roberto Marinho . In March 2005 the company Embratel , a subsidiary of the Mexican company Telmex, took over the controlling majority of Net Serviços de Comunicação.
