European Confederation of Search and Selection Associations

The European Confederation of Search and Selection Associations (ECSSA) is the European umbrella organization for the recruitment industry based in Brussels . ECSSA, which was founded in 2004, currently has seven national member associations (France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Great Britain and Luxembourg). The current president is Etienne Deroure (France). He succeeds David Winterburn.

“One of the main objectives of the ECSSA is to offer the respective national member companies a platform for their international activities. In addition, quality standards in personnel consulting are to be established as binding professional principles across national borders in Europe. Last but not least, the merger serves the regular exchange on the current national legal developments and the market situation in the personnel consulting industry. The ECSSA also represents the professional law interests of the personnel consultancy industry at the EU Commission in Brussels. "
