The European Journal of Surgical Oncology , EJSO for short , is a scientific journal published by Elsevier-Verlag. The journal was founded in 1975 under the name Clinical Oncology and changed it to the European Journal of Surgical Oncology in 1985 . It is an official publication organ of the European Society of Surgical Oncology and BASO - the Association for Cancer Surgery and appears with six issues per year. Works are published that deal with the surgical treatment of cancer.
