The aim is also to harmonize stroke management in Europe, for example by defining standards for stroke units . The aim is to reduce the number of deaths caused by stroke and to improve care for those affected. For this purpose, training courses and symposia are offered throughout Europe, and ESO also participates in the annual European Stroke Organization Conference (ESOC) .

journal

The association supports the publication of the scientific journal European Stroke Journal , which appears quarterly.
