Euroregion Alpi-Mediterraneo / Alpes-Méditerranée
The Euroregion Alpi-Mediterraneo / Alpes-Méditerranée is a European region that was founded on July 10, 2006 between Italy and France to improve cross-border cooperation. The Euroregion includes the Italian regions of Piedmont , Liguria and Aosta Valley and the French regions of Rhône-Alpes and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur with a total of around 17 million inhabitants.
