Eurymedusa (servant of Nausicaa)
Eurymedusa ( ancient Greek Εὐρυμέδουσα ) is a female figure in Greek mythology .
She was, according to the illustration in Homer's Odyssey, the old, from Apeira originating educator and servant of Nausicaa , daughter of Alcinous , king of the Phaeacians . She was once kidnapped from Apeira and brought to Alcinous as a gift of honor. Alcinous then gave her the task of raising his daughter Nausicaa. When Odysseus came to the Phaiacs, she was Nausicaas' maid.
