Eutin windmill
The old Eutin windmill (known as ( ndt. ) (Ol) Moder Grau ) is an old windmill in Eutin in the Ostholstein district in Schleswig-Holstein . Due to its elevated position, it is one of the characteristic buildings in Eutin.
It is a five-floor gallery Dutchman mill to a red brick building built octagonal base (tower) and a thatched roof has. The wings are about 22 meters long.
The mill had the miller Hass built in 1850 by the mill builder Carl Friedrich Trahn (1806-1888).
In 1995 the mill received a new winged cross with the support of the Eutin home association and the Eutin community .
The Eutin windmill is used as a restaurant.
