Eva Görsch

Eva Görsch (born September 22, 1928 as Eva Meister; † February 12, 1985 in Berlin ) was a German children's book author and dramaturge for GDR television.

Life

She was married to the writer Horst Görsch , who mainly wrote books on foreign literature (Bulgaria, China, Korea, Romania, Czechoslovakia, Hungary) and school books (German, local history).

Together with various illustrators such as Heinz Behling , Jutta Hellgrewe or Hildegart Gerbeth , Eva Görsch wrote mainly children's books , the texts sometimes also in verse. In the obituary of the New Germany it says: "With her warmth and cordiality and with her stimulating ideas she was the joyful center of our happy, harmonious childhood."

She is buried in the row of artist graves in the Friedrichsfelde central cemetery.
