Babenhausen district court

The Babenhausen district court was an older Bavarian district court that existed from 1813 to 1879 and was based in Babenhausen in what is now the Unterallgäu district in Bavaria . In the Kingdom of Bavaria , the regional courts were judicial and administrative authorities, which were replaced in administrative matters by the district offices in 1862 and in legal matters by the local courts in 1879 .

In 1813, in the course of the administrative restructuring of Bavaria, the district court of Babenhausen was established. This came first to the Illerkreis and from 1817 to the Oberdonaukreis , which was renamed Swabia and Neuburg in 1838 and later Swabia .

On the occasion of the introduction of the Courts Constitution Act on October 1, 1879, the Babenhausen District Court was established, the district of which was made up of the municipalities of Babenhausen, Bebenhausen , Dietershofen , Engishausen , Greimeltshofen , Herretshofen , Inneberg , Kettershausen , Kirchhaslach , Klosterbeuren , Mohrenhausen , Oberschönegg , Olgishofen , Reichau , Weinried and Winterrieden existed in the previous district of Babenhausen and other places.
