Eva Maria Wilden

Eva Maria Wilden (* 1965 ) is a German Indologist .

Life

In 1992 she acquired the Magistra Artium in Hamburg The Sacrifice as a Link between Gods and Humans according to the Brāhmaṇas and from 1992 the doctorate (magna cum laude) The cycle of offerings in the Veda and was a research assistant at the Indological Seminar of the University of Hamburg . From 1997 to 2002 she received two consecutive scholarships for research and habilitation from the German Research Foundation . After her habilitation in 2003 and Venia Legendi at the University of Hamburg in 2004, she was Maître de conférences of the École française d'Extrême-Orient since September 2003 . Since 2017 she has been teaching as professor for Tamil studies and manuscript studies at the Asia-Africa Institute / Center for Manuscript Cultures, Department for Culture and History of India and Tibet, University of Hamburg.
