Eva Ramminger

Eva Ramminger (* 1966 ) is an Austrian librarian and has been the head of the University and State Library of Tyrol since 2016 .

Life

As early as 1985, while studying art history at the University of Innsbruck , which Ramminger completed in 1993 with a thesis on the role of the book of hours in the early modern era, she worked at the ULB Tirol. In 1988 she completed her library training there. Until 2003, she was a specialist in the field of old books at ULB Tirol . She then moved to the library at ETH Zurich to take over the management of customer services.

In 2010 Ramminger took over the management of the university library of the Technical University of Vienna . In February 2016 she became head of the University and State Library of Tyrol.

In the Association of Austrian Librarians , Ramminger has been active in various functions in the executive committee since 2011. Among other things, she was in the 2013–2015 and 2015–2017 terms and has been Vice President since September 2019.
