Bartłomiej Paweł Stój (born May 15, 1996 in Przędzel ) is a Polish athlete who specializes in discus throwing.

Athletic career

Bartłomiej Stój gained his first international experience at the World Youth Championships 2013 in Donetsk , where he finished fifth with a width of 60.74 m. The following year he took part in the Junior World Championships in Eugene , but retired there with 55.92 m in qualification. In 2015 he won the gold medal at the European Junior Championships in Eskilstuna with a new championship record of 68.02 m with the lighter 1.75 kg discus and finished seventh in the shot put with 18.54 m. In 2016 he qualified for the European Championships in Amsterdam for the first time , but did not reach the final there with 61.30 m. At the 2017 European Athletics U23 Championships in Bydgoszcz , he failed to make a valid attempt in the final and then retired from the qualification at the Summer Universiade in Taipei without a valid attempt. Two years later he was sixth at the Student World Games in Naples with 61.09 m and also took part in the World Championships in Doha in the fall , where he was eliminated with 61.79 m in qualification .

In 2019 Stój became the Polish champion in the discus throw.
