Eva Trautmann
Eva Trautmann (born June 18, 1982 in Darmstadt ) is a German modern pentathlete .
Eva Trautmann started the modern pentathlon in 1997 and starts for the SVMF Darmstadt . She celebrated her greatest success at the 2007 World Cup in Berlin , where she won the silver medal in the team competition with Lena Schöneborn and Janine Kohlmann . In the following year, Trautmann could not reach the final at the World Championships in Budapest . With the team she missed a medal in fourth. Nevertheless, Trautmann qualified for the Olympic Games in Beijing through her position in the world rankings. With 952 points, Trautmann got off to a bad start in the shooting competition and was 34th of 36 starters. With 9 wins and 27 defeats, she consolidated her poor result in the overall ranking with 33rd place. As the thirteenth-best swimmer, she was able to improve a little, but after riding she lost ground again in 28th. In the final 3,000-meter run, Trautmann was 13th and in the overall ranking she was 29th. At the World Championships in London in 2009, she finished sixth.
