Evalueserve is a global market research company with around 3,200 employees. The company is headquartered in Switzerland. The largest branch is located in India, others in China , Chile and Romania and is represented worldwide by “Client Executives”.
Company history
Evalueserve was founded in 2000 by the former McKinsey partner Marc Vollenweider and the IBM research manager Alok Aggarwal . Since 2005 the company has had a research center in Shanghai , China, since December 2006 in Valparaíso , Chile and since August 2008 in Cluj, Romania. Customers include 100 of the Fortune 1,000 companies, many global management consultancies, and some of the largest investment banks . Beyond Data GmbH, based in Rheinbach, has been part of the Evalueserve Group since August 2014. In May 2015, Evalueserve announced the acquisition of the Dutch software company Treparel.
In January 2015 the company introduced the term 'powered by mind + machine' in its positioning. Mind + machine describes the connection of specialized analysts with the most modern information technology. Evalueserve supports this repositioning through selected partnerships, such as B. since April 2015 Evalueserve with Software AG, which will support Evalueserve with data analysis.
Services
Around 15% of the studies concern the Asian markets, around 80% Europe and America. The company is able to offer research services in over 50 languages. The employees are all academics from a wide variety of disciplines, so a specialist can be used in almost every industry and region.

- Investment Research
- The researchers analyze markets, industries and individual stocks not only for investment banks , but also for private equity , venture capital companies and hedge funds . In the M&A area, Evalueserve offers support in every phase of the investment cycle (e.g. initial target screening , commercial due diligence , assessment).
- Patent research / patent analysis / preparation of patent applications
- With over 200 patent specialists, Evalueserve is one of the largest providers worldwide. Evalueserve supports patent departments and patent law firms with research, analyzes (Patent & Technology Landscapes, Monitoring , Valuation ) and a new, tailor-made support for the preparation of patent applications.
- Data analytics
- In addition to evaluating customer databases (e.g. for segmentation or measuring sales or marketing efficiency), complete reporting, controlling or even management information systems are created and managed. The maintenance of databases is also part of Evalueserve's offerings.
