Evangeline Booth
Evangeline Cory Booth (born December 25, 1865 in London - † July 17, 1950 ) was the fourth general of the Salvation Army from 1934 to 1939 .
Evangeline Booth, the daughter of William and Catherine Booth , was the seventh of eight children. She gave her first sermons at the age of 17. She became an officer in the Salvation Army and served five years as a commander in London, from 1895 to 1904 in Canada and from 1904 to 1934 in the United States .
