The Evangelical Gottfried Forck Primary School is a private primary school in the Ströbitz district of Cottbus and the city's first Christian school. The sponsor is the Evangelical Church Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia .

The school was built in 1912 as the "Ströbitzer Community School" and was taken over by the Diakonisches Werk in 2000 , in the same year it was named after the Protestant Bishop Gottfried Forck, who died in 1996 .

The windows in the stairwell can be opened and closed using a chain hoist . An escape staircase , accessible from all floors, was later installed at the rear . The building is a historical monument.
