Evangelical City Academy (Munich)
The Evangelical City Academy is an institution of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bavaria . It is located in the center of Munich and is a member of the Working Group for Protestant Adult Education in Bavaria (AEEB). Anyone can take advantage of the offers - regardless of religion, origin, gender or nationality .
Educational work
Part of the offer is educational work. Among other things, orientation questions should be recognized and dealt with at an early stage.
There are 4 working levels:
- Discussion forums and lectures dealing with current issues are intended to strengthen political and cultural memory and develop future prospects. Here the current state of research is integrated and potentials of Christian tradition for orientation and interpretation in current questions are tapped.
- She is involved as a mediator in social and church disputes.
- She designs offers for personal development.
- It is a forum for contemporary spirituality , where one's own Christian tradition is brought into conversation with the knowledge of psychology and other religions .
Board of Trustees
The work is supported by a board of trustees made up of personalities from church and public life in Munich.
