Evangelical Hospital Hattingen

The Evangelical Hospital Hattingen is a hospital in Hattingen . Today it is sponsored by the Evangelical Foundation Augusta . It is an academic teaching hospital of the University of Duisburg-Essen .

history

The house was inaugurated on September 29, 1901. At the beginning it had 50 beds. The maintenance rate was 6 gold marks in the first, 4.50 gold marks in the second and 2 gold marks in the third class.

Obstetrics was closed in December 2007 for cost reasons.

structure

The house has 264 beds. The departments include internal medicine , surgery , neurology , ear, nose and throat medicine and oral and maxillofacial surgery .
