Evangelical rectory (Oberwinter)
The former Protestant rectory in Oberwinter , a district of the city of Remagen in the Ahrweiler district ( Rhineland-Palatinate ), is a half-timbered house from the 18th century. The house at Hauptstrasse 82 is a protected monument .
description
The two-storey building with four axes has an archway on the street side with the following inscription:
" LET YOUR EYES BE OPEN, VBER THE HOUSE DAY AND NIGHT, ABOUT THE PLACE OF WHICH YOU SAID MY ACCOMMODATION SHOULD BE THERE "
"HALLELUIA" is written in palm branches on the apex.
The house is covered by a hip roof. A half-timbered wing is built in the rear part, which has two half-timbered floors and two attic floors.
