Evenfall is an Italian - Austrian dark metal band.

Band history

The band was formed in 1992 and released the albums My Cross (1993), Sepolcrum (1994) and Evenfall (1997). In 1999 Evenfall signed a contract with the record label Century Media and released the album Still In The Gray Dying (1999). In the same year the band went on tour with Dimmu Borgir and Dark Funeral . In 2002 Evenfall released the album Cumbersome .

style

At the beginning of the band's history, Evenfall Death Doom played with influences from Black Metal . With later releases, the band increasingly turned to elements of Gothic Metal and Dark Metal . Singer Roberta Staccuneddu joined in 2002, and since then the band has been using the alternating vocals between the singer's soprano and Ansgar Zöschg's vocals, which is compared to Dani Filth .
