Evert
Evert ( ˈeːfˌ̞r̩t ) is the Low German / Dutch equivalent of Eberhard and means strong like a wild boar. Short and diminutive : Eef ( eːf ).
The element "hard" has often been encountered in personal names since German times with the meaning "strong, bold".
