Deadly Relatives (Original Title: Evil Kin ) is an American crime thriller - documentary series that was broadcast from August 2013 to December 2016 on the US broadcaster Investigation Discovery . The German-language first broadcast has been on the German channel TLC since November 29, 2014 . It is an offshoot of the documentary series Evil Twins , which has been broadcast on the same channel since 2012.
concept
In the documentary series, US criminal cases are reconstructed that occurred within a close family circle. Scenes as well as real police photos and videos are used, among other things. In addition, interviews are held with those involved, such as the relatives of the victims, the investigators and lawyers at the time and with criminal experts.
One case is dealt with in each episode.

From August 28, 2013 to December 29, 2016, the documentary series was broadcast on the US station Investigation Discovery . While the first three seasons were broadcast on Tuesdays at 9 p.m., the fourth season was broadcast on Thursdays at 10 p.m. and later at 9 p.m.
The German-language first broadcast has been on the German channel TLC since November 29, 2014 . The translation and broadcast is not based on the original classification of the episodes. While the second season aired every Saturday at 10:45 p.m., the third season aired Mondays at 10:05 p.m. (2015) and Tuesdays 10:05 p.m. (2016). The fourth season was also shown every Tuesday at 10:15 p.m. A German-language first broadcast of the first season has not yet taken place.
