Ewan Svensson

Ewan Svensson (* in Falkenberg ) is a Swedish jazz - guitarist .

Ewan Svensson took a jazz class in his hometown when he was 13. He has been working with his trio and a quartet ESQ, which also includes tenor saxophonist Ove Ingemarsson , since the early 1990s , and went on tour with guitarist Rune Gustafsson in the 1990s . In 2000 he wrote arrangements for his quartet in cooperation with the chamber music ensemble Ginestra . He also worked with singer Linda Pettersson and French pianist Antoine Hervé in the 2000s . In addition, Svensson played in the band of saxophonist Ulf Andersson and with Janne "Loffe" Carlsson. He was also active as a composer of pop songs to texts by the singer and songwriter Dave Castle.
