Under thesis one is scientific work meant that in most programs prerequisite for the completion of a university degree is. There are different variants depending on the course:
- Bachelor thesis in bachelor programs
- Master's thesis in master’s courses
- State examination work in courses leading to a state examination
- Diploma thesis in diploma courses
- Master's thesis in master’s courses
