Eyüp Taş (born September 11, 1959 in Istanbul ) is a former Turkish football player .
Career
Taş played for Galatasaray Istanbul in his youth . In the summer of 1979 the defender was appointed to the first team and came to six league games in the 1979/80 season. In the following season Taş moved to the second division Kayserispor . In three years at Kayserispor, the promotion to the first division failed.
Gençlerbirliği Ankara signed him for the 1983/84 season. There Taş immediately belonged to the regular players in the defense. At the end of the 1986/87 season he won the Turkish Cup with Gençlerbirliği. In the final of the Cumhurbaşkanlığı Kupası Gençlerbirliği had to admit defeat against Galatasaray. After this season, Taş went to league rivals Adanaspor . With Adanaspor he rose after the 1989/90 season in the 2nd division.
The defender spent his last season at Yozgatspor in 1992/93 .
