Eyck Zimmer (born December 22, 1969 in Erfurt ) is a German chef .

Eyck Zimmer learned the cooking profession in the Erfurter Hof , which belonged to the Interhotel chain. He worked at the East Berlin Palace Hotel , the Grand Hotel Regina in Grindelwald , Switzerland , the London hotels The Dorchester , The Berkeley , The Lanesborough , Claridge’s and The Ritz , the Choupana Hills on Madeira in Portugal and the Lowry Hotel in Manchester , United States Kingdom. From 2010 to 2014 he cooked in Hong Kong, in the Derby Restaurant of the exclusive Hong Kong Jockey Club. In August 2014 Eyck again took over the position of kitchen director at the andel's Hotel Berlin with the skykitchen restaurant (1 * Michelin). Most recently, and only briefly, he worked as head chef at the Hotel Adlon in Berlin. The French Order of Merit for Agriculture - Ordre du Mérite agricole was awarded to Eyck on July 21, 2014 for services to French gastronomy and food culture.
