Fábio Trad

Fábio Ricardo Trad (born August 18, 1969 in Campo Grande , Mato Grosso do Sul ) is a Brazilian lawyer and politician. He is a member of the PSD and a federal representative for Mato Grosso do Sul.

Life

Fábio Trad is the son of Nelson Trad and Therezinha Mandetta Trad. He is a member of the Trad family's political clan, which also includes Senator Nelsinho Trad Filho , City Prefect of Campo Grande Marquinhos Trad , former President of Campo Grande City Council Paulo Siufi Neto, former Health Minister Luiz Henrique Mandetta and others.

He studied law at the Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) from 1987 to 1991 and graduated with a master's degree in criminal law and economics. As a lawyer, he often represented socially disadvantaged people.

Political career

In 2003 he joined the PMDB party , of which he was a member until 2016. In 2016 he switched to the Partido Social Democrático (PSD) founded in 2011 .

In the elections in Brazil in 2010 , he ran as a member of the federal government and, with 82,121 valid votes, won the office for the 54th legislative period in the Chamber of Deputies of the National Congress . He was re-elected for the 55th legislative term. Here he worked in the special commission for a new civil criminal law.

With 89,385 valid votes in the 2018 elections in Brazil , he reached his third term for the 56th legislative period from 2019 to 2023.
