The two connected buildings with the postal address Fährstraße 29/30 are a listed building on Fährstraße in Stralsund .

The two four-story , gable-facing houses were built in the middle of the 18th century. The facades are designed in the Baroque style. The facade of house No. 29 has pilaster strips that extend over the strong main cornice into the two-storey volute gable . The facade of No. 30 is divided above the first floor by a cornice, above which the window openings are designed as hatches .

Upper floors 2 and 3 were originally designed as storage floors and were only later converted for residential purposes.

During a renovation in 1965, the interior of the two houses was modernized and the houses were connected to one another at the same time. Since then they have shared the entrance and the stairwell. Only the facade is preserved in its original design.

The house is located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered with the number 180 in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund .
