Félix Carvajal

Félix Carvajal ( Félix de la Caridad "Andarín" Carvajal y Soto; born March 18, 1875 in Havana ; † January 27, 1949 ibid.) Was a Cuban marathon runner .

At the 1904 Olympic Games in St. Louis, he was fourth. Since he did not have sports pants, he cut off the legs of his street pants before starting to adapt to the heat. To refresh himself he ate fresh fruit on the way, after which he was slowed down by stomach cramps.
