Monte Carlo Classic 1997

The Monte Carlo Classic 1997 took place from November 26th to 29th, 1997 in Monte Carlo , Monaco , in the Stade Louis II . The women's squash tournament was part of the WSA World Tour 1997/98 and belonged to the WSA Silver 15 category . The prize money was $ 20,000.

The top seeded Sarah Fitz-Gerald defeated the third seed Sue Wright in the final with 9: 1, 4: 9, 9: 1 and 9: 4.

The field of participants in the women's competition consisted of 16 players, a qualification was not played. The eight best players were seeded. A wildcard was not awarded.
