Kim Hannes-Teunen (born August 10, 1978 in Aarschot ) is a former Belgian squash player .

Career

Kim Hannes played on the WSA World Tour from 1995 . Their best finish in the world rankings, it reached Rank 33 in December 2002. With the Belgian national team took in 1998 and 2004 at the World Cup in part. At European Championships she was part of the squad over a dozen times. From 2001 to 2003 she was three times in a row in the main draw of the World Cup, but never got past the first round. She also played in the main draw of the European Championship three times - in 2004 , 2008 and 2009 . She reached the quarterfinals in both 2004 and 2009. Between 1994 and 2012 she was Belgian champion twelve times , a record. She played her last tournament on the World Tour in May 2004, but continued to play for the Belgian national team on a national and international level until 2013.

Hannes is married to Stefan Casteleyn , the Belgian record champion in men's squash, and has a daughter with him (* 2014).
