from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The fourth Squash Championships in individual ( english European Individual Closed Championships ) were from 8 to 11 September 2004 in Bratislava instead.

Defending champion of the last event in 1993 for men was Chris Walker , for women Corinne Castets . In the men's category , Grégory Gaultier won when he defeated John White 10: 8, 2: 9, 2: 9, 9: 3 and 9: 6 in the final. In the ladies' final hit Rebecca Botwright on Vicky Hynes . Duncalf won the game 8:10, 2: 9, 9: 4, 9: 4 and 9: 5 and celebrated her first title win.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 36 players, the women's competition consisted of 16 players. Four starting places were awarded to qualifiers for men, no qualification was played for women. Wildcards were not awarded, there are no prize money or world ranking points at European championships. In both fields, positions three and four, positions five to eight and positions nine to 16 were set in the form of a grouped setting. These settlements are therefore given in alphabetical order below.
