Jakob Dirnberger (born May 7, 1980 in Hallein ) is an Austrian squash player .

Career

Jakob Dirnberger began his career in 2006 on the PSA World Tour . He achieved his best placement in the world rankings with rank 123 in January 2008. Between 2007 and 2016 he was Austrian vice-champion several times behind Aqeel Rehman . With the Austrian national team he took part in the World Cup in 2005 , 2007 , 2009 , 2011 , 2013 and 2017 . In addition, he was part of the Austrian squad at European championships several times . In the individual, he has already taken part in the European Championship eight times, his best performance was reaching the quarter-finals in 2015 .
