Patrick Gässler (born July 30, 1984 in Leonberg ) is a former German squash player .

Career

Patrick Gässler played professionally on the PSA World Tour from 2004 to 2007 and reached two finals during this time. His highest placing in the world rankings, he reached rank 119 in May 2007. With the German national team he took in 2005 at the World Cup in part. In addition, he was part of the German squad at European Championships three times : 2006 , 2007 and 2008 . In 2004 , 2006 and 2007 he took part in the European Championships. In 2004 and 2006 he reached the last sixteen. For Germany, he entered the World Games in 2005 and was eliminated in the first round in three sets against James Willstrop .

Due to injuries, Gässler had to end his professional career early. Today he works as a squash trainer.
