European Squash Championship 2007

The seventh Squash Championships in individual ( english European Individual Closed Championships ) found from 13 to 16 June 2007 Royan instead.

Defending champion for men was Grégory Gaultier , for women Jenny Duncalf . Both won the title again this year. Gaultier won the final against Renan Lavigne very clearly with 9: 0, 9: 1 and 9: 1. It was his fourth title win, all of them in a row. Jenny Duncalf defeated her compatriot Tania Bailey in the final with 9: 5, 3: 9, 9: 7 and 9: 5. It was her second title win.

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 45 players, that of the women's competition of 27 players. There were eleven starting places for qualifiers for men and eight for women. Wildcards were not awarded, there are no prize money or world ranking points at European championships. In both fields, positions three and four, positions five to eight and positions nine to 16 were set in the form of a grouped setting.
