The 14 Squash Championships in individual ( english European Individual Closed Championships ) found from 4 to 7 June 2014 in the French Valenciennes instead. The host was the European Squash Federation .

The defending champions Grégory Gaultier for men and Camille Serme for women prevailed again this year. Gaultier defeated Mathieu Castagnet in the purely French final 11: 5, 11: 5, 4:11 and 11: 4 and was thus European champion for the eighth time. Camille Serme met Line Hansen in the final , who like Castagnet reached the final at a European Championship for the first time. Serme won the game 11: 6, 11: 5 and 11: 4. It was her third title win at a European Championship, which made her level with the previous record winner Jenny Duncalf in terms of the number of titles .

The field of participants in the men's competition consisted of 29 players, the women's competition of 23 players. In contrast to the previous year, no qualification was played, and no wildcards were given. There is no prize money or world ranking points at European championships.
