Marie Stephan (born March 14, 1996 in Cayenne , French Guiana ) is a French squash player .
Career
Marie Stephan started her professional career in 2015 and has so far won a title on the PSA World Tour . She reached her highest place in the world rankings with rank 78 in January 2016. Stephan was already very successful in the juniors, in 2014 she became vice European champion in the juniors behind Nele Gilis . In 2014 she also represented France at the European Seniors Championships, where she was eliminated in the round of 16 against Lucie Fialová .
She studied at the University of Pennsylvania , for which she was also active in college squash.
