Franziska Hennes (born April 21, 1992 in Homburg ) is a German squash player . She won the German singles championships four times between 2013 and 2018 and is a member of the German national squash team .

Life

Hennes started her squash career at the age of eight at SRC Blieskastel-Homburg in the former tennis and squash center in Homburg. She later became a sports soldier in the German Armed Forces and trained in the Paderborn squash training center. She took part with the German national team in the European Championship and the World Championship in 2012 . She was also part of the German team at the European Championships in 2013 , 2014 , 2015 , 2016 , 2017 and 2018 , as well as the World Championships in 2014 , 2016 and 2018 . In addition, she was sent to the World Games in 2013 and 2017 by the German Squash Association . She reached her highest position in the world rankings in May 2014 with rank 105.

Hennes starts for the Paderborn SC .
