The two best teams made it to the semi-finals, the rest had to go to relegation. In the second-rate division 2, the men competed a total of ten teams in two groups of five. The group first and second met in a knockout round and determined the two promoted teams in Division 1. The two weakest teams in Division 1 were relegated in return, the women the promotion and relegation mode was equivalent. The women's division 2 consisted of seven teams that compete in round robin mode. Division 3 of the men and women were held in the same mode. For the women, the group also consisted of seven teams, and for the men, ten teams had also entered. At the tournament all places were played out.

All teams consisted of a minimum of three and a maximum of five players who had to be reported in the order of their skill level. Three individual games were played per match for the women and four for the men. The order in which the individual games played was independent of the order in which the players entered.
