Jens Schoor (born April 27, 1987 in Koblenz ) is a former German squash player .

Career

Jens Schoor started his professional career in the 2006 season and won eleven titles on the PSA World Tour . He reached his highest position in the world rankings with position 60 in March 2015. He was several times German runner-up behind Simon Rösner and was second in the national rankings for several years. Schoor was a permanent member of the German national team . With this he took part in world championships in 2009 , 2011 and 2013 . In 2016 he qualified for the first time for the World Cup , where he was eliminated in the second round against Yip Tsz-Fung . He had previously defeated Ryan Cuskelly in four sets in the opening game . He played his last international tournament at the 2017 World Cup , where he was eliminated in the qualifying finals.

With the Black & White RC Worms, he won the European Squash Club Championships four times in a row from 2012 . In 2011 and 2013 he became German team champion. His brother Carsten Schoor was also active as a squash professional.
