Carsten Schoor (born May 27, 1989 in Koblenz ) is a German squash player .

Career

Carsten Schoor started with squash at the Schängel Squash Club Koblenz , where he trained with his brother Jens Schoor , who is also active on the professional tour. During his time with the juniors he was German runner-up several times and in 2003 he won the German youth team championship. With the junior national team he was also vice European champion several times. At the age of 16 he moved to the first division club Black & White RC Worms, for which he is still active as captain in the highest German squash league. With the club he won the European Squash Club Championships in 2012 . His highest national position was sixth, in the world rankings he reached 245th place in June 2014. In 2014 he was appointed to the German national team for the European team championship and was also part of the squad in 2015 .

Carsten Schoor graduated from high school and, as a sports soldier, was a member of the Bundeswehr's sports promotion group .
