European Squash Club Championships

The European Squash Club Championships (ESCC) is the European Cup for national champions in squash . It is an official event of the European squash federation, the European Squash Federation (ESF).

The tournament was first held in 1980, but the second edition did not follow until 1989. The championships now take place annually. The European teams that were national champions in their league at the end of the season qualify. The defending champion is an exception: he is automatically qualified so that two clubs from one country can participate. If the defending champion in the league season becomes national champion after winning the title, the runner-up in the league season is automatically qualified for the championships. The tournament is usually held within a week. The men's record champions are Paderborn SC , who have won the title ten times so far. In the women's category, Pontefract from England is the record holder with six titles.
