European Squash Team Championship 2015

The European Team Championships for men and women in 2015 in Squash found from 22 to 25 April 2015 in Ljubljana , Slovenia , and from April 29 to May 2, 2015 in Herning , Denmark instead. A total of 31 men's teams and 23 women's teams took part. For men it was the 43rd edition of the championship, for women it was the 38th edition. The teams divided into Division 3 played their tournament in Ljubljana in April, while Divisions 1 and 2 played their games in Herning from the end of April.

mode

The participating teams played in three different divisions according to their placement at the previous European Championship. In Division 1, the eight best teams competed for men and women and played for the European title. First, the teams were divided into two groups and played their games in round robin mode . The two best teams made it to the semi-finals, the rest had to go to relegation. In the second-rate division 2, the men competed a total of ten teams in four groups. The group first and second met in a knockout round and determined the two promoted teams in Division 1. The two weakest teams in Division 1 were relegated in return, the women the promotion and relegation mode was equivalent. The women's division 2 consisted of six teams that compete in round robin mode. In Division 3, a total of twelve teams competed in four groups of three. The group first and second continued to play in a knockout system. For the women, the first and second group were determined in a group of four and five, who determined the two promoted players in a knockout round. At the tournament all places were played out.

All teams consisted of a minimum of three and a maximum of five players who had to be reported in the order of their skill level. Three individual games were played per match for the women and four for the men. The order in which the individual games played was independent of the order in which the players entered.
