The Spanish squash national team is the entirety of the squash squash federation Real Federación Española de Squash . Spanish athletes can be found in it, who represent their country in both individual and team competitions nationally and internationally in squash .

history

Men's

Spain took the first time in 1985 at the World Cup in part. Until 1999 , the team was eliminated from the group stage at every event, before participation in 2001 and 2003 was waived. Between 2005 and 2011 , Spain did not get beyond the group stage again. The best result until 2017 was a 14th place at the 1989 World Cup . In 2017 , the team finished the tournament in eleventh place, making it to the round of 16 for the first time. Two years later , the team improved to eighth place.

At European Championships Spain participates regularly finishing in the top four, the team managed for the first time 2018 . The semi-final against England was lost, but the ensuing bronze match against Germany was won 4-0. In 2019 the team moved into the final for the first time, in which they were narrowly defeated by England.
