Spanish national water polo team

The Spanish national water polo team ( span. Selección Española de Waterpolo ) is a selection of Spanish players in the sport of water polo (span. Waterpolo ). It represents the Real Federación Española de Natación (Royal Spanish Swimming Association) on an international level, for example at the World Water Polo Championships , the European Championships , the FINA World Cup , the World League or the Olympic Games .

The greatest successes of the men's national team were winning the gold medal at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta and the world championship titles in 1998 in Perth and 2001 in Fukuoka .
