Jonas Görnerup (born December 5, 1961 in Gothenburg ) is a former Swedish squash player .

Career

Jonas Görnerup was active as a squash player in the 1980s and 1990s. With the Swedish national team he took part in the world championships in 1985 , 1987 , 1989 and 1991 , as well as in several European championships . With her he became European champion in 1983 against England . Between 1985 and 1989 he was in the final four more times with Sweden, each against England. In 1983 he was the only time in the main field of the individual world championship, where he was eliminated in the first round.

After his active career, he began to work as a trainer, among other things. He is currently the coach of the Spanish national team .
