The two best teams advanced to the semifinals. In groups C, D, E and F, a total of 19 men competed in groups of four and three groups of five. After the group phase, they played the other places in knockout rounds . Groups C, D, E and F women played according to the same mode. All teams consisted of at least three (women) or four (men) and a maximum of five or six players, who had to be reported in the order of their skill level.
